NOAH B. SCHECHTER
Noah works with Entrepreneurs, Start-Ups and Small Business. Noah is experienced in various corporate matters, including: Business Formation; Contract Formation and Enforcement; Trademark and Copyright Law; IP Development, Protection, and Conveyance; Employment Separation Agreements and Releases; State and Federal Compliance Practices in Securities, Labor and Healthcare; Pre-trial and Trial Motion Practices; Appellate Advocacy; and Commercial and Industrial Real Estate.
Noah’s experience involves work in both the private and public sector. From this work, Noah has acquired a finely tuned understanding of the rules and regulations governing various forms of business ventures. Noah constantly leverages his experience on behalf of his clients, giving them the insight they need to optimize their business’ operations under a variety of different legal contexts. Noah’s understanding of the law and how it relates to businesses makes him an invaluable resource to individuals, start-ups, entrepreneurs and small businesses that are just beginning.
In working with Entrepreneurs, Start-Ups and Small Business, Noah negotiates and drafts: formation documents, employee documents, financing documents, equity and debt documents, term sheets, confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements, director and advisory agreements and work for hire agreements. Beyond this, Noah also focuses on compliance issues, such as compliance with labor and employment law, and following the formalities that accompany the organizational structure.
Noah helps his clients set up best practices for establishing a human resources department. This service includes providing his clients with guidance on the proper procedures for hiring and firing individuals in accordance with the law. Noah’s work with clients involves a “whole-picture” approach. Noah works to protect his clients from potential claims that could stem from both inside and outside of the company.

Before coming to Libertas, Noah worked at Lacher & Lovell-Taylor in New York where he focused primarily on Commercial Litigation.
Noah received his Bachelors of Art in Social Work from New York University and a Juris Doctor from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. Noah is admitted and licensed to practice Law in both California and New York.
